Post Modernism and Beyond to the Present
Bernard Tschumi once said of Post Modernism: "The end of a bad dream."

Deconstructivism opened up an entirely new direction in Architecture, with Frank Gehry producing what was to become known as "the Gehry effect," in which entire waterfronts, neighborhoods, and cities are transformed because of his designs. For better or for worse, diversity in Architecture followed diversity in the social fabric of the world - at least in the Western half.
